What is the difference between Serial and Ordered?

Serial as an adjective is having to do with or arranged in a series. while Ordered as a verb is to set in some sort of order.

Definition: Having to do with or arranged in a series. Published or produced in installments.

Part of speech: noun

Definition: A work, as a work of fiction, published in installments, often numbered and without a specified end. A serial number required to activate software.

Example sentence: The 'serial kisser' tag that has been thrust on to me is a lame stereotype. It irritates me. Yes, there is sexual content in my movies, and I have never been apologetic about doing bold scenes. But it's not fair to tag me this way because that can be very stifling.

Ordered

Part of speech: verb

Definition: To set in some sort of order.

Example sentence: Remember that bodily exercise, when it is well ordered, as I have said, is also prayer by means of which you can please God our Lord.
