Means as a noun is (now chiefly in the plural) a method or course of action used to achieve some result. while Agency as a noun is the faculty of acting or of exerting power; the state of being in action; action; instrumentality.

Example sentence: Punk is musical freedom. It's saying, doing and playing what you want. In Webster's terms, 'nirvana' means freedom from pain, suffering and the external world, and that's pretty close to my definition of Punk Rock.

Example sentence: The divine law indeed has excluded women from this ministry, but they endeavour to thrust themselves into it; and since they can effect nothing of themselves, they do all through the agency of others.
