What is the difference between Insert and Enter?

Insert as a verb is to put in between or into. while Enter as a verb is to go into (a room, etc.)

Insert

Definition: To put in between or into.

Part of speech: noun

Definition: An image inserted into text. A promotional leaflet inserted into a magazine or newspaper.

Example sentence: When I see somebody being mistreated, my eyes tear up and I want to stop it. And I believe that the best thing I can do is to write about it, because if I insert myself into the equation it doesn't really do much good, but if I write about it I think it could do more good.

Enter

Part of speech: noun

Definition: The "Enter" key on a computer keyboard.A stroke on that key.

Part of speech: verb

Definition: To go into (a room, etc.)To type (something) into a computer; to input

Example sentence: Your life is like a play with several acts. Some of the characters who enter have short roles to play, others, much larger. Some are villains and others are good guys. But all of them are necessary; otherwise, they wouldn't be in the play. Embrace them all, and move on to the next act.
