Creed as a noun is that which is believed; accepted doctrine, especially religious; a particular set of beliefs; any summary of principles or opinions professed or adhered to. while Gospel as a noun is the first section of the christian new testament scripture, comprising the books of matthew, mark, luke and john, concerned with the life, death, and teachings of jesus.
