Story as a noun is an account of real or fictional events. while History as a noun is the aggregate of past events.

Example sentence: Everyone loves a comeback story, and everyone loves the underdog as well. I kind of feel like I've been the underdog. Hopefully that inspires people to not give up on themselves and their lives and not give up on their dreams.

History

Part of speech: noun

Definition: The aggregate of past events.The branch of knowledge that studies the past; the assessment of notable events.A record or narrative description of past events.The list of past and continuing medical conditions of an individual or family.A record of previous user events.

Example sentence: That men do not learn very much from the lessons of history is the most important of all the lessons of history.
