What is the difference between Denial and Demurrer?

Denial as a noun is the negation in logic while Demurrer as a noun is someone who demurs or objects

Definition: The negation in logic A refusal to comply with a request. An assertion of untruth Refusal to believe a problem exists

Example sentence: People have the problem of denial. This is one of the things I learned in Lebanon. Everybody who left Beirut when the war started, including my parents, said, 'Oh, its temporary.' It lasted 17 years! People tend to underestimate the gravity of these situations. That's how they work.

Demurrer

Part of speech: noun

Definition: someone who demurs or objectsA stop or pause by a party to an action, for the judgment of the court on the question, whether, assuming the truth of the matter alleged by the opposite party, it is sufficient in law to sustain the action or defense, and hence whether the party resting is bound to answer or proceed further.
