What is the difference between Confident and Overconfident?

Confident as an adjective is being very sure of or positive about something while Overconfident as an adjective is too confident.

Confident

Definition: being very sure of or positive about something self-confident

Example sentence: If you are confident about yourself and wear what you love, you will exude a style of your own.

Overconfident

Part of speech: adjective

Definition: too confident.presumptuous, cocksure, rude and disrespectful.

Example sentence: I think I have let ego get in the way sometimes - the pendulum swung pretty strongly. I was maybe a little overconfident at one point in my time, and then I went way the other way and thought I wasn't capable of anything.
