Definition: An event or occurrence that signifies an ending. A feeling of completeness; the experience of an emotional conclusion, usually to a difficult period. An abstraction that represents a function within an environment, a context consisting of the variables that are both bound at a particular time during the execution of the program and that are within the function's scope. The smallest set that both includes a given subset and possesses some given property.
Example sentence: The theological virtue of hope is the patient and trustful willingness to live without closure, without resolution, and still be content and even happy because our Satisfaction is now at another level, and our Source is beyond ourselves.
Cloture
Part of speech: noun
Definition: In legislative assemblies that permit unlimited debate (filibuster); a motion, procedure or rule, by which debate is ended so that a vote may be taken on the matter. For example, in the United States Senate, a three-fifths majority vote of the body is required to invoke cloture and terminate debate.
